The Orthopedic Shriners Hospitals are dedicated to provide specialized medical and rehabilitative services to children with congenital deformities, problems from orthopedic injuries and diseases of the musculoskeletal system. Over 750,000 children have been helped by the free medical care available at the 22 Shriners Hospitals.

Shriners Hospital vans transport patients and families between Houston and McAllen, Texas (along the Matamoros, México border) weekly for clinical treatments visits. Meals and overnight loading are also provided.
